  1. I know you didn't like the film, Sati, but I'm hoping you loved the soundtrack? I really liked it and I'm happy Zimmer didn't go after Williams at all in his own composing. Very great music in bits, especially the sequences with Clark's childhood and dad.

    1. Oh yes, the soundtrack and Cavill were the only reasons I didn't leave, the music was incredible, much better than actual movie.

    1. It's so great, I cannot believe that this piece is so long yet I don't even want to fast-forward - it's all so beautiful.

  3. Giving this another listen now. I remember thinking it worked well in the film but I wasn't desperate to run out and listen to it again.

    1. I actually listened to it right after the movie, it was one of the very few things that worked for me during the film.

    1. Yeah, it's lovely, the main theme is very memorable too, Zimmer really rocks at delivering new themes even though the classic ones are so well known and beloved.

  6. Great score from Hans Zimmer. I still prefer John Williams' one, but this is one of the year's best, regardless.
