Soundtrack Wednesday - Game of Thrones (3)

Track: The Rains of Castamere
Artist: The National
Movie: Game of Thrones (season 2)

And who are you, the proud lord said,
that I must bow so low?
Only a cat of a different coat,
that's all the truth I know.

In a coat of gold or a coat of red,
a lion still has claws,
And mine are long and sharp, my lord,
as long and sharp as yours.

And so he spoke,
and so he spoke,
that lord of Castamere,

But now the rains weep o'er his hall,

with no one there to hear.
Yes now the rains weep o'er his hall,
and not a soul to hear.

And so he spoke,
and so he spoke,
that lord of Castamere,

But now the rains weep o'er his hall,
with no one there to hear.
Yes now the rains weep o'er his hall,
and not a soul to hear.

  1. Oooh I like this... this guy sounds a bit like Richard Armitage, but RA's voice is a bit more throaty. I LOVE that new season poster, very striking and provocative!

    1. Oh God, now I won't be able to listen to The National without thinking of him :)

The poster is actually fan made, but it's awesome indeed! HBO only released one poster this season with dragon and a bunch of character posters that I hug on the bus stops :P

Wow, fan-made? That's cool. I think fan posters are often more creative. Ahah, I could see you hugging the bus stops :D

Yeah this one is really well made :) I think I'm gonna start taking photos of myself with these posters to document my descent in madness.
