I fucking love "She's Gone Away" which is definitely one of my favorite songs by the Nails w/ Nine Inches. I lost my shit when I found out they were on the show with that song. And yes, that is Trent's wife Mariqueen who was pregnant with a baby girl at the time they were performing and filling in for drummer Ilan Rubin was Joey Castillo of Danzig/Queens of the Stone Age.

Every song used in this show was bloody great. Somehow the opening sequence doesn't sound dated, and I love that they used the same old school looking font for the credits as well.
ReplyDeleteWhat shitted me off though, as a drummer, is that during the 'live' music at the end of each show, apart from NIN and perhaps a few others, it isn't live at all. I'm absurdly attuned to this stuff, so when I'm hearing drum beats and the drummer isn't hitting what we can hear it really shits me off!!
