Things get tiny and huge in the second trailer for "Ant-Man and The Wasp"

On the heels of devastating everyone last week, the timing was perfect for Marvel to release brand new - and very fun - trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp aka a sequel to my second favorite MCU movie. The official synopsis for the film reads "as Scott Lang balances being both a Super Hero and a father, Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym present an urgent new mission that finds the Ant-Man fighting alongside The Wasp to uncover secrets from their past.". Even though we saw Michelle Pfeiffer, who plays Janet van Dyne, Hope's mother who is lost in Quantum Realm, on the poster released yesterday, there is no footage of her in the trailer, other than in the full costume in flashback sequence. But we do see lovely glimpses of Quantum Realm.

Ant-Man and the Wasp opens in USA on July 6th but because of stupid football championship it opens in UK and Poland on August 3rd.

Why you gotta do me so dirty, Disney.

  1. Can't wait for this! I love that it's a mix of him struggling with fatherhood and being Ant-Man, and the group dealing with the quantum realm being opened. I had a feeling something would've happened with that in the first movie but didn't know if they'd do anything with it. Wasp looks so bad-ass! Definitely something I'm looking forward to this summer.

    1. The Wasp is so cool! I loved Hope in the first movie and it's awesome that she is a co-lead here

  2. That trailer looks awesome. I'm actually excited for it as Wasp is just a total badass. Plus, seeing Luis and the boys always make me smile as does that ant playing the drums. The poster is incredible as I'm so eager to see Michelle Pfeiffer in a big-time movie again.

  3. Ant-Man is so refreshing. I'm glad to see Scott's friends getting some trailer time too as they were so funny the last time around.

  4. So excited for this! It looks so much fun. I think that I need to rewatch Ant-Man soon, because while I did love it, I think I'll appreciate it even more now that I did when the first one came out.

  5. I don't think I'm gonna waste my time with this one...IS WHAT A JOYLESS PROCK WOULD SAY.

Ah, I'm so pumped for the return of Ant-Man and Wasp, as they have a brilliant chemistry with one another. Hopefully this sequel will make up for their absences in IW. I really could've used some Giant Man during all that.

Man...more Luis? And Pfieffer? Sign. Me. Up.

    1. People say Ant-Man wasn't in IW because he could crawl up Thanos' butt and then go giant :D

      I think this could work.
