15 best shots of 2015

Yesterday we looked at the best scenes in 2015, today it is time to take a look at the most glorious single shots that mesmerized me last year. Fury Road, my win for cinematography, takes the top spot with 3 mentions but there is something else entirely on the spot. Here are last year's choices.

Here we go again. I have published some best of lists last month but having seen all of the movies nominated for this year's Best Picture, along with many others, I can finally finish the lists. So today let's celebrate the film's best scenes in 2015. Here is last year's list. Next up we will look at the best shots and a week from today my gigantic, annual Best (And Worst) of the year arrives.

Kingsman: The Secret Service

If you would have told me before I went to see Kingsman that I'll enjoy a movie made by Matthew Vaughn, I would have never believed it. I find his X Men to be really mediocre, his Layer Cake to be excruciatingly boring and almost criminally overpraised and Kick Ass is one of the worst things I've seen in my entire life and I do not mean just movies - things. But perhaps every director I loathe must have at least one movie I enjoy. Terrence Malick - Thin Red Line. Lars Von Trier - Melancholia. And now Vaughn and his amazingly fun and entertaining Kingsman.
