There's a wonderful tradition over at the most entertaining blog out there - Mario's TwoDollarCinema - where our dear Mario hosts Mt. Rushmore blogathon for President's Day.
In a shocking twist, in the years past I honored my favorite men - both real and fictional. And in an even more shocking twist this year is not gonna be an exception.

The last time I participated in Dell's and KG's Against the Crowd blogathon was 2015 and what do you know, another Edgar Wright movie was my choice back then. The next time he makes a movie I am not seeing it. And if any of you tells me to, I'll punch you in the face.
WARNING: if you like Baby Driver, Arrival, Amy Adams, Michelle Williams and quality film criticism and are offended by violent sexual imagery, inappropriate jokes and insane ramblings - don't proceed further.

Charlene's (mostly) Classic Movie Reviews is hosting a Medicine in the Movies blogathon. The task was to write about a movie where there is some relation to medicine. I decided to focus on Darren Aronosfky'sThe Fountain which is such a beautiful and very underrated movie. The film takes place in the 16th century, in 2005, and in 2500. In the past a conquistador fights in a religious war for his Queen. In the future a man and a tree travel up the sky to reach a dying star. And in the present day storyline a doctor is searching for a cure to save his wife who is dying of brain cancer.

But that was then.
And this is now.

White Swan, Black Swan blogathon

What is black swan you may ask, Well, it has never been stated as an official term but I'd like to think the idea of a black swan/white swan is a very elegant way of depicting the duality in characters. So I encourage you to write about your favorite white swans/black swans, both in movies and in TV series.
There are so many fascinating cases of character being one thing to the outside world and completely different person in reality - Mavis from Young Adult, Patrick Bateman from American Psycho, Brandon from Shame...you can choose characters from all the genres and it's doesn't matter if they are lead or very supporting.
I'd love for this to be also the opportunity to write about those fascinating characters from the psychological standpoint, so go for it!

John Hitchcock, over at Hichcock's World. is running a very fun blogathon focusing on the women in cinema.
Here are the rules:
Here are the rules:
- The female character in question should have qualities that make her strong. That doesn't necessarily mean better than the guys, just well-written; we're trying to promote equality here, not reverse misogyny.
- Unlike my previous blogathon, I'm going to be a bit stricter here and say that each entry should only focus on one character. However, if you like you can write multiple entries examining different characters.
- If you can, do try to find less obvious choices. There are a few that I can expect are likely to get picked: Ellen Ripley, Sarah Connor, etc. If you decide to write about any the "obvious" choices, I encourage you to at least try and find something new to say about them.
- You are allowed to pick characters from any film from genre or time period you like.

Well for my first ever post participating I'm in a luck as even with the amazing amount of stunning shots in Under the Skin there is one that was truly the best one there.

Lovely Brittani or Rambling Film is hosting her first ever blogathon. It revolves around the idea of choosing your favorite movie titles, for each letter of the alphabet. You don't have to like the movies you choose or even watch them, I suppose, but as it happens the ones I chose are all the films I enjoyed.
Rules:
1) Going through the alphabet, list your favorite movie title beginning with each letter.
