Temple was born on July 21, 1989 and she owes her name to butte of Cape Final known as Juno Temple, where her parents went when her mother was pregnant. She is the daughter of a producer Amanda Temple and director Julien Temple.
Born in England, she decided she wanted to be an actress at the age of 4. Her father cast her in his film Vigo but ended up cutting her out of the film. Two years later, age 11, her father cast her in another of his films, Pandaemonium. When she was 15 she won an audition for Notes on a Scandal. That led to her role in Atonement, which went on to win Golden Globe for Best Drama, where Juno played Lola, a girl involved in incident that will change the lives of main characters forever. She also appeared as Anne Boleyn's brother's wife Jane in The Other Boleyn Girl and as Anna in terrific and criminally under seen Mr. Nobody. She is also known for her role in St. Trinian and its sequel and indie movie Dirty Girl.
This year Juno appeared in a small role in The Dark Knight Rises and gave - reportedly - terrific performance in twisted Killer Joe. Her future projects include, among others, The Brass Teapot which tells the story of two people who find magical teapot that makes money but only if they are willing to hurt themselves, Lovelace where she will star opposite Amanda Seyfried and Jame Franco and what appears to be half of young Hollywood actors and Maleficent opposite Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning..

ReplyDeleteThank you! Yeah, she was terrific in Atonement!
DeleteI liked her in Atonement, but I forgot she was in most of those films. I do want to see Dirty Girl and Killer Joe though.
ReplyDeleteYeah she kinda pops out of nowhere I saw many of films with her and only when I was writing this one I remembered how often she appears in movies.
DeleteLove her. She is fantastic in Killer Joe, my current win at the moment. Her role in TDKR was a little pointless to me though.
ReplyDeleteDamn, I really can't wait to see this one! Yeah, she was basically in 3 scenes funny thing is that some people assume she was Harley Quinn :)
DeleteI discovered her because of her dad who is a filmmaker I like. Her performance in Atonement is impressive as I also liked her in The Other Boleyn Girl, The Dark Knight Rises, Greenberg, and most of all, Kaboom!.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen Kaboom or Greenberg, will definetly try to check those out!
DeleteOooh, that's who she is! When I saw her in TDKR I though, who's this girl? I didn't remember her in Atonement. I still want to see The Other Boleyn Girl.
ReplyDeleteThe Other boleyn Girl is a huge mess and a big embarassment for Portman, but ScarJo is pretty good in it. All in all, I'd say you should see The Tudors or The Tudors again, if you saw it already, instead :)
DeleteI did see a few episodes of The Tudors... if only for Henry Cavill [swoon] :)
DeleteOh he is so hot in this ^^
DeleteNo mention of her in "Year One"? Sure it's a terrible movie but she is pretty good looking in it.
ReplyDeleteNever seen it :) I try to fill those posts with decent films anyways, those youngsters deserve clean slate :)
DeleteWOW THAT WAS HER IN ATONEMENT??? lol
ReplyDeleteIt seems she is slowly building up a presence in Hollywood. I could definitely see her get more roles as the months go by. Haven't seen her in anything substantial though so no idea if she has any staying power.
These red hair sure made her look different :)
DeleteShe was really good in Mr. Nobody also I hear she is just terrific in Killer Joe, so who knows maybe there will be some buzz for her this year.
I think you will love her in Killer Joe :)
ReplyDeleteAt that point I'm practically shaking with anticipation for this film :)
DeleteI didn't know that it was her in TDKR. And I can't remember her in Atonement & The Other Boleyn Girl. She seems to have a potential though. Thanks for sharing this!
ReplyDeleteYeah she really looks different in all of those three films!
DeleteOther than Atonement and TDKR, I'm not familiar with her work. Followed the casting news for TDKR and thought she would have an important role but was disappointed.
ReplyDeleteShe looks interesting and I always love people with unique names.
Yeah, she really deserved better role in tDKR but I enjoyed her scenes her and Hathaway had great chemistry.
DeleteI really like her, mainly because she just pops up in a whole lot of films. I haven't yet seen Dirty Girl, but from the trailer I could tell that she's onto something big.
ReplyDeleteThe film is so-so but it's worth seeing for her work.
DeleteGood gravy!I did not realize that was her in Atonement!
ReplyDeleteHer bit in TDKR was a bit of a surprise. Was not expecting her in such a small role.
Yeah it was small, but I still liked it. The film was well paced so her part couldn't be longer with all that was going on.
DeleteThis lady is truly an up comer in the world of film. Can't wait to see her future work.
ReplyDeleteYep, she definetly has potential!
DeleteI had seen her in a couple of those movies you mentioned, but the role where I finally remembered her name and who she was was in St. Trinian's. I don't know why, since there are so many other young actresses running around in it, too.
ReplyDeleteI barely remember that one to be honest, I see it's definetly troublesome for people to remember her in movies, that may be good since she blends in the role so well :)
DeleteHaha, sounds like everyone forgets poor Juno. I like her, though I have only seen a couple of her films. She was pretty much the only highlight in Kaboom -- did not like that one at all.
ReplyDeleteIt sure does! :) Hope it will change soon.
DeleteAt some point I thought that she's everywhere because she appeared in so many movies, even though as a supporting actress. But she's very interesting. I'm looking forward to her future career and I'm curious about some films of hers that I missed.
ReplyDeleteIf you haven't seen Mr. Nobody yet, you should totally check it out, it's lovely!
DeleteThanks, I've seen that one. A very good and underrated film.
DeleteGlad you liked it, it's crayz underrated!
