    Gah I wish I was Irish, or part Irish or whatever. Instead I have a family full of teetotaling Muslims. Just horrible.

    I's also toss in The Lost Weekend, but that's an anti-drinking movie. Other than Leaving Las Vegas, most of these picks seemed to be more about the fun involved.

      I actually have a friend who frequently watches LLV when he drinks, which I find odd this is one of the most anti-drinking movies I've seen.

    Holy clovers! There are so many clovers! I so wish I were Irish. Their voices are so pretty. And so are Cillian Murphy and Liam Neeson/

    This is a great post, though. I'll probably get more into the St. Patrick's Day spirit when I'm a little older!

    Bloody fantastic. I love the scene in Leaving Las Vegas when Cage is cleaning out his LA apartment. He pounds one shot, pours, pounds another. Jesus.

      Cage has so many incredible scenes in this movie it's always a bittersweet sensation when I watch his new movies - they are so bad it's funny, but he used to be so amazing, it's such a waste of his talent.
