I love that your getting so into "Begin Again" and then new banner is glorious. I really enjoyed the film even though I considered it somewhat inferior to Carney's debut "Once". The soundtrack really was something. It was one of the few I actually went out and bought!

ReplyDeleteThe soundtrack is really good but for me that's the only song that works outside the movie, Knnightley sounds lovely in the film but without the energy and charm of the visuals it's not as good of a listen as a score alone
DeleteI've listened to this song dozens of times since I saw the film a few months ago. I really hope it wins the Oscar.

DeleteLOVE THIS SONG...but my absolute favorite scene in the film was the 'Love You Like a Fool' scene with her and Corden...BROKE.MY.HEART. but in a really special way.

Oh that was such a good scene, I think it was one of Keira's best moments in the film. Corden was adorable!
DeleteYes, Corden was my big takeaway from this movie. I had no idea who he was going in, but I wanted him in every scene...he was such a natural fit and just delivered every line perfectly. I want to be his best friend.
DeleteI saw him in all of those Into the Woods trailers and I was like 'who the hell is this guy?' I still don't know how he landed such a big gig but at least now I've seen him in something.
