Visual Parallels: Knives Out + The Handmaiden

By s. Monday, April 13, 2020 , ,

While rewatchimg Knives Out again and admiring its wonderful production design, I realized that the film's lovely cinematography highlights it as much as another movie I love - The Handmaiden. So today I decided to check if there are any visual parallels between them. It turns out that not only there are, but at one point both movies use the coin toss as a way to start and end the flashback.
