Here we go again. I have published some best of lists last month but having seen all of the movies nominated for this year's Best Picture, along with many others, I can finally finish the lists. So today let's celebrate the film's best scenes in 2015. Here is last year's list. Next up we will look at the best shots and a week from today my gigantic, annual Best (And Worst) of the year arrives.

Justin Kurzel's Macbeth, which is one of the most cinematic Shakespearean works, opens with the still shot of a dead child laying on the ground, surrounded by heather. The film's tone is set from the very start - as raw, grim and filled with great sadness. This is a dark, bloody affair and an unpleasant one too.If only it was a better movie.
