"God does not build in straight lines" - Prometheus "Origins" featurette.

By s. Wednesday, May 9, 2012 ,
There is a fascinating new featurette promoting Prometheus over at Yahoo - click the image below to go there.
In this one we find out the name of the planet - which is actually the name of one of the existing moons , we get to see more shots of Michael Fassbender looking very creepy and we hear Ridley Scott declaring he wants to scare the living shit out of us.

  1. I think I have reached the point where I don't want to see anymore from Prometheus until I watch the movie. The last trailer was borderline already with all the reveal.

    1. I'm still quite confused about everything, though after the first screenings take place I will avoid the fansites.

  2. It is sad, but I am getting a little bored of all the featurettes now. I remember the time when you would get them only on the DVD and that was cool!!

    1. Nowadays they add 4 hours of extra features on the discs, insane :)

  3. Awesome! Wish I could stop watching all these bits and pieces but it's just not going to happen. Thanks for sharing!

  4. Another great little feature. As I was watching it I thought these are the sorts of 3min features I ignore on the DVD/Blu-ray after seeing a film but that are infinitely appealing when I'm anticipating a movie I haven't seen yet. Can't wait for this film to come out.

    1. Exactly, I think the only extra features I saw in their entirety are on Black Swan.

    1. Exactly and he scared us good in Alien :)

  6. Ridley Scott paraphrasing Tennessee Williams? This looks deeper than Alien, as much of a perfect movie it was (I apologize for my grammar, that happens when I'm stoked). I was already sold but now I'm double sold.

  7. Thanks for the heads-up! I'll check this out, but hopefully there won't be too many footage from the film as I try to avoid that as much as I can.

    1. I think the heaviest marketing is only about to happen, it's very close to the premiere now.

  8. I agree with some of the comments here, I don't think I'm going to look too much more into Prometheus for fear I get burnt. I know it will be amazing, I'm just worried I'll be disappointed for some reason or another. Great feature though, it does look fantastic!

    1. Yeah, getting too hyped is something dangerous, I'm so hyped right now that there is no going back. I hope Dark Shadows was going to be good and it was awful, so I hope there will be only one movie failing me this year :)
