Finally! After weeks of anticipation and saying "it's gotta be this one!!" about every single Warner Bros. release in hopes it will have the trailer attached to it, the trailer was finally released today.
The first movie went on to break records and while I didn't find it to be anything groundbreaking it was very enjoyable and had a brilliant villain so well played by Bill Skarsgaard. The most exciting thing about the next movie is of course the new actors playing the adult versions of our beloved children characters, with everyone being perfectly cast, except for Jessica Chastain. I'm sorry, I simply wish it was Amy Adams.
Chastain looks pretty good in the trailer though and the opening scene is so creepy, especially that moment with old lady just smiling at her. Nightmare fuel!
It: Chapter Two premieres on September 6th
I'm so ready for this. I had shaky expectations of the first movie, having loved the novel, but it was a nice surprise. This looks really good too, and BILL HADER.
ReplyDeleteYes Bill Hader! He is definitely going to be the highlight of this
DeleteGoodness, that was definitely some shit I wish I could unsee. Why does she have to scuttle about? *shudder*
ReplyDeleteI'm so ready, though. That cast is f--king amazing.
That old lady was so creepy, jesus christ. The trailer may be scarier than entire chapter 1
DeleteI wish it wasn't Chastain.... I don't like her at all and it's not like all the others could carry her with a few other weaker links in the mix. I'm slightly worried. Other than that, BILL IS AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteI think it's gonna be all right but it would be so much better if it was Adams
