Nice scene selection.. so gonna try to put together my own top 10 or something similar to this! Friends scene is just priceless! The one Danny DeVito was in, was also a really good scene and oh just, I can't think of any better ones from other shows.. I'm just stuck. :D
Great post! "Kiss me, kill me, do something!" Hah! Alice is so fabulously creepy and bat shit crazy. I also liked those scenes from Friends, where they have to move the couch because Ross is too cheap to pay for delivery, and the episode of Big Bang where Sheldon has to make the presentation. And Games of Thrones is freaking awesome. I haven't seen the others.
Oh wow, what great photos! Nobody makes lists like you, Sati, these are splendid! Man I should check out Youtube for the vid of Iron Man singing with Sting!! I kept forgetting RDJ was in Ally McBeal, I used to watch that show all the time. It's so delightfully quirky!
I love the Summer Catalog scene, but the best part of that episode to me might be April and Andy’s cover photo. When April sees it is just one of the most endearing moments. I love her dry bitchiness and her normal tone makes the sweet scenes that much more poignant.
The Six Feet Under scene was utterly beautiful. Hands down the best ending to a series ever! I cried for like ten minutes straight and every time I hear Sia now I get a bit misty.
Oh I love this moment, April and Andy are such cute couple. I love whenever April is being so human, like when she helps out Chris or talks to Leslie and shows her how much she admires her.
I tihnk it's the best ending too, it was so perfect! Same here, I don't think I ever cried more than during this moment.
sasfkknfakdfkadfc (yes I AM going all tumblr here because nothing else adequately describes my feelings right now) --- Larry in Ally McBeal was so perfect, too perfect! RDJ and Sting... it's beyond. I wish someone sang me Every Breath You Take, like that. A bit stalkerish, but nice.
Wow, so I guess I really need to start watching Luther, eh? So happy with many of these choices -- especially the Six Feet Under finale and the Breaking Bad crawl space. Both scenes are absolutely unforgettable.
Oh man, that scene in Luther. God, Alice creeps the hell out of me.
ReplyDeleteLove her character, there are some plans about making a spin off about her, I'd definetly watch that :)
DeleteI've seen Friends and The Big Bang Theory, but I haven't seen either scene you mentioned from them. I will be starting Luther very soon though. :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome, hope you'll like it!

ReplyDeleteGreat, I'd love to see your list! Friends is filled with hilarious moments, but that one made me laugh the hardest :)

ReplyDeleteThank you! You should definetly check out The Wire, this one may help you with the pain of waiting for Luther :)
DeleteI don't know much except Ally McBeal and Friends. I totally forgot about Sting's appearance. It saddens me though when Ally got left by him.
ReplyDeleteThat Friends scene was too hilarious. One of the funniest scenes in the series!
Yes, that totally screwed up the show. They fired RDJ for drug abuse and the show never picked itself up.
DeleteI love that moment so much, Ross and Chandler are always so funny.

ReplyDeleteThank you! I love Ally Mcbeal, except for 5th season, but first 4 seasons were absolutely amazing, so ahead of their time too.

Ah, epic picks all around.
ReplyDeleteThat close to Six Feet Under is so long and overly dramatic and stylized and hyperbolic. And it is fucking perfect. Plain and simple.
Thanks!
DeleteI didn't know you watched Six Feet Under! I really think that this moment was the greatest ending to any series, ever.

ReplyDeleteHaha, that's all right - going all tumblr is just about the highest form of enthusiasm these days :)
DeleteThat song is a bit stalkerish, true, but that scene was so lovely it made me forget all about the lyrics ^^

ReplyDeleteOh, definetly it's really an amazing show! I love those scenes, unforgettable is the perfect word to describe them!
DeleteThis post just made me want to see Ally McBeal again, I should really try to get a hold of it! Also, Luther 1.01? sexy and crazy, me likey :)
ReplyDeleteI rewatch that series very often, it's so funny and it's actually much more original than most of the stuff you see nowadays on tV :)
